What is a Printable?
A printable is a digital PDF file that you download and print out (for your own personal use).
Do I Need Special Software?
The full features of the PDF printables will only be available in Adobe Reader. This is free software available here. I recommend only using a computer not a tablet or mobile device. You can not edit my printables in any other software like InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator etc as the files are locked.
Will Anything Be Shipped?
No physical binder or printed items are included or shipped to you. You are purchasing digital PDF files.
What Is The Turnaround Time on Printable Invitations?
You will receive the customized invitation file within 24-36 hours (Mon to Fri NZ time) Orders placed on Saturday/Sunday will be designed and emailed to you the following Monday.
What Is A Fill-In Printable?
Some printables are listed as “Fill-in”, this simply means you print out the pages and handwrite (fill-in) the details, planning etc. It is not editable, you cannot type in text.
What Is An Editable Printable?
If a printable is listed as “Editable”, this means you can open it with Adobe Reader on a computer and type directly into the highlighted fields, save and print the file. This is useful for saving recipes and repetitive checklists etc.
What Can I Edit On A Printable?
If a printable is editable, this means that you can add your text (and images where applicable) to the highlighted text fields and image blocks. However, the design elements (motifs, colors, existing text, feature fonts etc) are locked and are not editable. You cannot change the actual design.
How Do I Open A .Zip File?
You can unzip the file by following these steps:
PC: To extract a single file or folder, double-click the compressed folder to open it. Then, drag the file or folder from the compressed folder to a new location. To extract the entire contents of the compressed folder, right-click the folder, click Extract All, and then follow the instructions.
Mac: Double click the .zip file, then search for the product folder or product file.
How Do I Add A Photo To A Printable?
Some page designs have the option to add a photo to a printable. Follow these step-by-step instructions on how to add a photo in this article.
How Do I Edit The Text?
To change the properties of the text you have typed/added to a printable. First select your text, then press Command E (Mac) or Control E (PC). This will access the 'Form Field Text Properties' panel where you can change the font, size, color, alignment, style etc. For step-by-step instructions to edit text see this article.
What If My Binder Kit Is Updated?
If a Printable Binder Kit you have purchased is updated in the future, you will be eligible to access the newer version. Please join our email newsletter to receive and update notifications. If a Kit is completely revised it may require a small upgrade fee.
How Many Recipes Will The Recipe Binder Kit Work For?
Whether you have 20 recipes or 200+ you are not limited and you can continue to add to your collection over time. There are 20+ different page designs to choose from for each recipe. You simply add the recipe, "save as" the PDF as the recipe name and create another one.
Do you recommend A Specific Binder?
You can use any binder of your choosing. The Printable Binder Kits come with cover and spine designs that can be put into a binder with clear cover inserts.
What Supplies Will I Need To Create My Binder?
Easily print the printables using your home printer. You will need to purchase a binder of your choosing to put the printables into. It's your choice whether to simply hole punch the pages or use sheet protectors. To create Tabs for binder sections, you will need scissors and glue or double sided tape.
Can I Get A Refund?
As our products are digital files, unfortunately, no refunds will be given. However, I will do everything possible to ensure that you are 100% happy with your printable purchase. Please contact me with any questions or issues you may have.
What Is The License/Usage Agreement?
By purchasing or downloading a free, printable PDF file from Tumbleweed Press, you agree to our License/Usage Agreement. Please read this as it outlines all the terms of what you can and cannot do with our printables.
Can I Print The Pages At A Print Shop?
Yes, you can have the files printed at a local print shop for your sole personal use.
Can I Create A Recipe Binder As A Gift?
Yes, you can gift up to three printed hard copies of the Recipe Binder to others. If you wish to gift more than 3 copies, please contact me for details. Note: This is ONLY printed copies, you cannot give or share the digital PDF files with another person. If they wish to use the digital files, they will need to buy their own license.
Can I Share A Printable With A Friend?
No, please do not share my printable designs. All printables are for your sole personal use only. Please direct friends to my store to purchase their own copy. Thank you for respecting copyright.
I'm a blogger, can I share these printables with my followers?
No you cannot. My printables are for the sole personal use of the purchaser only. Please read our License details here. You cannot share, sell or giveaway the digital PDF file(s) to anyone else.
I have a blog/online store, can I sell these printables?
No, you cannot use the digital PDF file(s) or printed copies of the file(s) for ANY commercial use or products for sale. Please read our License details here. However, you can join our Affiliate Program and earn a commission for every sale you generate from your link.
